Terms of Service

Last updated 14 July 2026

In one line. Nomoo is a tool for keeping track of your own money. It is not a bank, it cannot move money, and it does not give financial advice. Use it honestly, and it is yours to use.

These terms are the agreement between you and Nomoo ("we", "us") for the Nomoo mobile app, web app and this site (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the Service.

1. Your account

2. Your data is yours

The money data you put into Nomoo belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it. We store and process it only to run the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it (CSV, on Pro) and you can delete it — see Delete your account.

3. Nomoo is not financial advice

Nomoo — including Nemo, the AI assistant — records and summarizes what you tell it. It does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing it produces should be treated as such. Decisions about your money are yours.

Nemo is a language model. It can misread a statement, mis-categorize a transaction, or state something confidently and be wrong. Check what it records before you rely on it. The same goes for the statement importer: it shows you what it extracted so you can review it, and it is your review that matters. We are not liable for a decision you took on the basis of an incorrect figure.

Nomoo is not a bank, a payment service, a lender, or a money transmitter. It holds no money and cannot move any. Balances shown in the app are a record of what you entered — they are not an authoritative statement from any financial institution.

4. Acceptable use

Do not:

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

5. Shared households

If you create or join a shared household, everything recorded in that workspace is visible to every member of it. Invite only people you trust with that information. The owner of a household can remove members and delete the household; if an owner deletes their Nomoo account, ownership passes to the member who has been in the household longest, so the rest of you keep your data.

6. Plans and payment

Nomoo has a free tier that is genuinely usable, and a paid Pro tier that lifts its limits.

7. Availability

We try to keep Nomoo up and working. We do not promise it will never be down, never lose a request, or never have a bug. The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Keep your own records. Nomoo is a convenience, not a system of record for your finances — your bank's statements are.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, on the free tier, is nothing).

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Ending it

You can stop using Nomoo and delete your account at any time, from inside the app or via this page. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or if we shut the Service down — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Nomoo after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and disputes belong to the courts of Indonesia — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold where you live.
